Great product. Rome pie irons are top of the line. They are well made (Heavy Duty) and extremely easy to season and clean. I have several of their pie irons and have used them countless times over the years. I use them year around and they preform as good in the winter as they do in the summer over the campfire. I haven't found anything that they don't cook well, (from steaks to pies, s'mores and omlets). I would recommend their products to anyone who enjoys outdoor campfire cooking.
These are a great purchase. Well made, cast iron pie irons which are easy to season and even easier clean up. We have used them several times already and everything cooks really even in them. When ordering i received the storage bag also, which I really like a lot. The bag is a heavy canvas with a good button for securing it. It has a handle so you could hang your pie iron on a wall if you want but i liked that we took them camping and having the bag prevented soot from getting on anything else when packing up. Easy to order, came well packaged and on time. I will be ordering more.
These are the best pie irons I have ever used. I have tried a couple of different pie irons. The others don't hold up to the heat and are difficult to clean. Rome Pie Irons cook evenly, are easy to keep clean, and don't have any problem in the heat. This is why I purchased 4 extra.
